Professional Division

 

 

Our Professional Division Program has been specifically designed to train advanced students who aspire to enter the professional world and prepare for auditions with national and international dance and ballet companies. We provide an enriching environment focused on both technique and artistic expression. Our goal is to shape versatile, professionally trained dancers, helping them realize their dream of joining elite dance companies.

The school distinguishes between two types of students: those who wish to join our Pre‑Professional Program and those who attend classes for recreational learning.

 

                                               Pre‑Professional Program

 

 

This program begins at Ballet Level 3, following the techniques of the Cuban School of Ballet and the Cuban School of Contemporary Dance. Students will also be introduced to Lyrical Jazz, Hip‑Hop, and Spanish Dance.

School Activities

• Pre‑Professional students are required to participate in school productions and the Spring recital (End‑of‑Course performance).

• Ballet examinations are held each semester: one during the first week of December and another in the first week of May. These evaluations aim to motivate students to meet their level objectives and ensure they are physically and technically ready for advancement.

• Students must meet their required hours of participation each week. Attendance will be taken.

 

Tuition

• Pre‑Professional Levels 6, 7, 8: $500 per month for unlimited classes. Students who are simultaneously contracted to the Competition Team will receive a $50 discount.

• Levels 3, 4, 5: $450 per month for unlimited classes. Students who are simultaneously contracted to the Competition Team will receive a $50 discount.

División Profesional:

Nuestro Programa de División Profesional está diseñado específicamente para formar a estudiantes avanzados interesados en incursionar en el ámbito profesional y prepararlos para realizar audiciones en diversas compañías de danza y ballet, tanto a nivel nacional como internacional. Ofrecemos un entorno enriquecedor con atención centrada en la técnica y el arte del bailarín. Nuestro objetivo es formar bailarines versátiles y de entrenamiento profesional que logren alcanzar su sueño de integrarse a destacadas compañías de danza.

La escuela se estructura en dos modalidades de matrícula:

1. Estudiantes que optan por ingresar a nuestro Programa Pre‑Profesional.

2. Estudiantes que prefieren tomar clases con fines de aprendizaje regular.

 

Programa Pre‑Profesional:

Este programa inicia a partir del Nivel 3 de Ballet, siguiendo las técnicas de la Escuela Cubana de Ballet y la Escuela Cubana de Contemporáneo. Además, se incorporan clases de Lyrical Jazz, Hip‑Hop y Spanish Dance.

• Ballet

• Trabajo en punta

• Variaciones

• Pas de deux

• Contemporáneo

• Técnica de Ballet Progresivo (PBT)

• Entrenamiento físico

• Saltos y giros

• Opcionales: Spanish Dance, Hip‑Hop, Lyrical Jazz

Actividades Escolares

• Los estudiantes del Programa Pre‑Profesional deben participar en las producciones de la escuela y en el recital de fin de curso de primavera.

• Se realizan exámenes de ballet cada semestre: durante la primera semana de diciembre y la primera de mayo. Estos exámenes tienen como finalidad fomentar el interés y el desempeño del estudiante y garantizar su preparación técnica y física para el siguiente nivel.

• Los estudiantes deben asistir a todas las clases asignadas a su nivel cada semana.

 

Tarifas

• Pre‑Profesional niveles 6,7,8: USD 450 por mes (clases ilimitadas)

• Niveles 3,4,5: USD 400 por mes (clases ilimitadas)

 

Estas tarifas aplican únicamente a estudiantes matriculados en UDC y en nuestro Programa Pre‑Profesional.
