About Universe Dance Company

Universe Dance Company was founded on June 1st, 2024, by Gabriela Lugo Moreno and Miguel Alejandro López-Jorge with a clear and heartfelt mission: to make the magic of dance accessible to everyone.

Understanding that not every student or family has the financial means to afford a performance in a grand theater, Universe Dance Company was created as a non-profit organization dedicated to breaking down those barriers. Through this company, dancers of all ages and backgrounds have the opportunity to perform in excellent theaters and be part of high-level productions — all without the burden of cost.

Our purpose is to open the stage to every dreamer, every mover, and every artist at heart. At Universe Dance Company, we believe that dance is not just for the few, but for all who carry the passion within them.
